Hospital Compare incorporates in-depth research on various hospital data sets and presents visually interactive analysis, with comparisons based on various parameters. The quality reporting data provided by the CMS is used for comparison of up to five hospitals at a time on five fundamental domains:

Outpatient imaging efficiency,

The tool also gives a clear view of hospital-by-hospital performance on 64 different quality measures, as set by the CMS.
