Chicago, IL – Impact Advisors, LLC, a premier healthcare information advisory services firm, announced today that Dr. Steven Schlossberg has joined the organization as a Vice President and Chief Medical Officer.

As a member of the Executive Team, Dr. Schlossberg will further enhance Impact’s Clinical Consulting capabilities and provide physician executive-level assistance to Impact’s clients.  With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Schlossberg has extensive knowledge spanning the healthcare information technology lifecycle, from technology planning to system selection and solution implementation to clinical process and workflow optimization activities.

Prior to accepting the position with Impact Advisors, Dr. Schlossberg served in several executive informatics management roles, including CMIO for Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Health System, where he helped lead the Epic EMR implementation, led physician integration across three separate hospitals, and participated in the integration of three different IT organizations into one entity. He was also the Vice President of Medical Informatics at Sentara Healthcare where he organized the physician integration/adoption processes to support the build, implementation and subsequent optimization of their Epic solution.

Dr. Schlossberg graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and did his Urology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Campus and a fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.  He has over 85 peer-reviewed publications and has given over 100 lectures. He is currently Treasurer for the American Urological Association and also received an MBA from William and Mary.
