Aprima Medical Software and DMEhub Announce Joint Partnership
DALLAS, Texas and ORANGE PARK, Fla., Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Aprima Medical Software and DMEhub™ today announced a joint partnership, making DMEhub available to Aprima users. The newest version of DMEhub is seamlessly integrated and fully supports the Aprima EHR system. DMEhub for Aprima electronic health record (EHR) allows physicians to write orders for durable medical equipment (DME) directly from their Aprima EHR system.
DMEhub auto-populates the forms necessary when physicians write DME orders for their patients. DMEhub’s rules engine also ensures that these forms are filled out correctly and completed on the first attempt, eliminating the need to fax forms back and forth with a supplier.

- Auto-populates patient demographics – DMEhub through its integration with Aprima pulls the patient demographic information directly from the patients’ records and populates the necessary forms.
- Attaches supporting documentation – DMEhub allows the practice to attach any documents necessary to support the need of the ordered equipment.
- Electronically sends to the appropriate supplier – DMEhub ensures that all forms are sent electronically to the correct supplier, eliminating the need to print and fax these forms. Once completed, it is then forwarded, in real time, to the correct supplier. This ensures more timely delivery of the needed supplies to the patient.
- Incorporates forms into the patient chart – Once all forms are completed and sent, DMEhub pushes all of the forms directly back into the patient’s chart.
