SA Ignite’s QRDA Assistant Achieves ONC HIT 2014 Edition Modular EHR Certification from ICSA Labs

SA Ignite, a leading provider of solutions that simplify the management of complex value-based programs, today announced that its Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) Assistant software version 1.0 has achieved ONC HIT 2014 Edition Modular EHR certification. QRDA Assistant software will be utilized as part of the company’s broader PQRS EHR Direct reporting services to allow for the customization of this file type per client and per Tax ID Number (TIN).

This certification designates that the software is capable of supporting eligible providers with meeting the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

SA Ignite’s QRDA Assistant software version 1.0 was certified on February 13, 2016 by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with applicable criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“We believe SA Ignite’s QRDA ASSISTANT software certification validates that we have the ability to help our clients customize their file to submit just nine PQRS measures regardless of what is provided to them by their EHR vendor(s),” said Tom S. Lee, PhD, CEO, founder and board member of SA Ignite. “This allows each organization to report on the nine best measures to achieve optimal quality scores and financial outcomes.”

ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, offers vendor-neutral testing and certification. ONC HIT 2014 Edition Certification is granted to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals who wish to demonstrate Stage 2 Meaningful Use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.

QRDA Assistant software’s version 1.0 certification number is 160009R00. ONC HIT certification conferred by ICSA Labs does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

QRDA Assistant 1.0 meets the following certification criteria:
• 170.314(c)(1) CQM – capture and export
• 170.314(c)(2) CQM – incorporate and calculate
• 170.314(c)(3) CQM – reporting
• 170.314(g)(4) – quality management system
