Under the agreement, Tools4ever will use Boston Software Systems’ technology to automate functionality within its identity and password management solutions.

Boston Software Systems provides healthcare automation platforms that streamline complex processes and improve productivity via data entry automation. The Tools4ever User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) and Self Service Reset Password (SSRPM) provide healthcare organizations with connections to any health information system (HIS). Initially, this partnership enables Tools4Ever to automate and streamline identity and password management processes with an easy interface from SSRPM or UMRA into Meditech, Epic, Cerner, Siemens and McKesson environments.

The UMRA connector specifically allows healthcare organizations to eliminate manual data entry into their Active Directory (AD) and will instead automatically manage the lifecycle of user accounts across the enterprise within AD and in the different platforms. Additionally, the SSRPM connector allows end users to easily and securely reset their AD and system passwords without needing to contact the helpdesk.
