WASHINGTON D.C.Sept. 27, 2013 – The mHealth Summit, the global convener of the expanding mobile health ecosystem, announced the launch of registration for the 2013 event to be held December 8-11, 2013 at the Gaylord National Harbor Convention Center, in the Washington, D.C. area.

As the largest event of its kind, the 5th Annual mHealth Summit will bring together more than 5,000 mobile and wireless technology innovators, influencers, and developers, with healthcare industry executives, medical and health researchers, providers, insurers, government leaders and policy makers, NGOs, non-profit and corporate executives, and VCs from more than 60 countries.

In addition to keynote addresses from top industry leaders and themed conference tracks, this year’s expanded exhibit floor includes an Innovation Zone Pavilion featuring startups focused on mobile health, aging and gaming.  There will also be a series of co-located events during the Summit including the HIMSS Venture+ Forum, Health 2.0, WIP Jam, ABA mHealth Law Track, M2M Now Money Talks and the Games for Health Workshop.
