PointClickCare, the leading cloud-based software platform for the senior care market, announced today the availability of Integrated Radiology Results, giving providers the ability to electronically receive radiology test results directly in their electronic health record (EHR).  This new capability completes PointClickCare’s integrated results portfolio, marking a significant milestone for the company in its efforts to advance interoperability in the senior care market.

PointClickCare collaborated with Liaison Healthcare, an integration and data management solutions company, to develop a solution allowing its U.S. customers to access radiology results from national, regional and local diagnostic testing providers. Radiology results are received electronically as structured data or, depending on service provider, as PDF or a link to an external image viewer.

Integrated Radiology Results will not only enhance resident care and eliminate the risks associated with manual error-prone processes, but it will also aid radiology providers who are preparing picture archiving and communication system (PACS) integrations as part of Stage 2 meaningful use readiness.
