Medfusion Announces Latest Version of Medfusion Plus at HIMSS16
Medfusion, a leading provider of patient experience management (PXM) solutions, today announced it will debut the latest version of its mobile app, Medfusion Plus, at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS16). This latest product development supports the company’s initiative to empower patients by facilitating access to and transparency of their own health data through mobile devices.
As patients struggle to navigate today’s complex healthcare landscape, they are often challenged by an inability to access their own health information. Medfusion Plus securely gathers appointments, lab results, medications, immunizations and more into one place. The patient-driven health record aggregator app allows patients to see and share their health-related data regardless of EHR or patient portal system.
For providers, Medfusion Plus integrates with Medfusion’s portal to give practices a panoramic view of a patient’s care, enabling real-time monitoring. The app is mapped to 14 different types of patient portals that represent more than 40 EMRs. Medfusion Plus has been rolled out to more than 200 practices, 6,000 patients, and is capturing and sharing data that is linked to more than 10,000 different healthcare organizations.
