Innovaccer to Launch InData, a Unified Healthcare Data Platform, at HIMSS 2018

Healthcare organizations wrestle with enormous amounts of data ranging from clinical and claims records to billing and financial reports. Most struggle to generate meaningful insights from this fragmented and frequently inaccessible information. The inability to effectively manage healthcare data creates a tremendous amount of inefficiency leading to overworked teams, shrinking margins, and poor patient outcomes.

Until today, the burden of overcoming this challenge has fallen upon care organizations. Solution providers continue to build applications on isolated systems without considering interoperability.

To help healthcare organizations unlock the power of data, Innovaccer Inc. will revamp their Datashop product with the launch of InData- its cutting-edge healthcare data platform at HIMSS ‘18. With InData, the leading San Francisco-based healthcare data platform company aims to bring care teams together and enhance the understanding of patient populations.

A unified healthcare platform powering patient care

Developed as a unified data platform, InData enables healthcare organizations to leverage all their data to power their applications. By integrating, cleaning, and normalizing multiple data sources, InData can ensure that all teams are operating on a single shared source of truth. Customers can leverage Innovaccer’s industry-leading product modules such as InCare, for care coordination, InSight, for analytics, InAssist, for point-of-care notifications, or their own pre-existing applications. They can use any or all of these solutions in parallel, with the knowledge that the underlying data is consistent and accurate.

Pioneering methodologies

InData is built on a modern architecture, designed to scale and ingest data from both current and future sources, without rework. It also adopts the latest machine learning technologies to continually deliver automated quality checks and standardization processes to provide the most accurate data. Post integration and standardization, InData generates an enterprise master patient index (EMPI) to store the integrated records longitudinally.

Source-agnostic

InData unifies clinical, claims, billing, labs, HIEs, and other data sources through its pre-built connectors for over 60 EHRs and over 200 other health IT systems. Additionally, the platform can ingest data coded in a wide range of formats including CCDA, X12, ADT feeds, CSV files, and HL7 feeds, to ensure patient data across the continuum is captured. Care teams can also send information back into the EHRs in the desired format with supported protocols and data exchange standards such as TCP/IP, SFTP, FTP, HISP, HL7, FHIR, and others.

Simplified and code-free

Equipped with a visual tool incorporating drag-and-drop functionality, InData simplifies extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes. The visual pipelines reflect data integration and management in real time, allowing users to define transformations and rectify errors transparently. With its queryable data search, InData allows care teams to easily filter patients, create desired registries, and target specific data points.

Accessible and actionable insights

InData aims to streamline workflows and reduce the time required to hunt for critical information. The integrated records provide a 360-degree view of patients, presenting a single, comprehensive view of their medical history, demographics, vitals, allergies, and social determinants. The two-way interoperable platform ensures the records are accessible to anyone in the team, across the network, based on their level of access. The advanced analytics engine built on top of the platform is capable of delivering insights in real time, enabling data-driven decision-making for all stakeholders.

“Healthcare has come a long way. With the abundance of data and new software tools, care organizations have an opportunity to break free from the challenges of yesterday and revolutionize the care continuum,” remarks Abhinav Shashank, CEO at Innovaccer. “We have aligned InData with our mission of driving healthcare efficiency through the power of data. The healthcare industry will now have an opportunity to modernize their tools to bring care teams together and make the population healthier, one patient at a time.”

“Transitioning to value-based care and building population health management capabilities remains a top priority for most healthcare delivery organizations,” Gartner
Research VP, Laura Craft wrote in the Market Guide for Healthcare Provider Population
Health Management Solutions: 2018 Update. Craft also wrote, “Data integration and scalability for enterprise architecture will be increasingly taxed as PHM program goals and requirements grow.” In this Market Guide, Innovaccer was listed as a Representative Vendor.

Innovaccer will be showcasing InData along with other modules of their healthcare data platform this HIMSS 2018. Join Team Innovaccer at booth #649 at Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, from March 5 to 9, and learn more about InData.
