Healthcare Experts Marc Probst and Ginger Graham to Headline the Executive Forum at Central Logic Summit

Central Logic is adding a new event, the Executive Forum, focused on education and collaboration amongst hospital executive leadership during its annual Advancing Care Coordination & Analytics Summit in September in Orlando, Florida. The Executive Forum will feature presentations by two of the most influential thought leaders in healthcare: Marc Probst, Chief Information Officer and Vice President at Intermountain Healthcare, and Ginger Graham, Former President and Chief Executive Officer, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, and Group Chairman, Guidant Corporation, who served on the Committee on the Learning Health Care System In America which published the report, Best Care, Lowest Cost – The Path to Continuously Learning Healthcare in America.

“I am thrilled to have both Marc and Ginger participate in our inaugural Executive Forum. This is our first year to bring together top healthcare experts who will share their prospective around the importance of real time data and care coordination,” said Jennifer Holmes, Central Logic president and CEO. “Our industry is transforming rapidly and hearing from these distinguished individuals who have spent their careers dedicated to improving healthcare will provide a glimpse into the future and provide clarity on how care coordination providers and technology such as ours can move healthcare forward. Having Ginger and Marc share their insights takes our already sought-after event to the next level.”

Marc Probst has been involved with information technology and healthcare services for the past 32 years. He served for six years on the Federal Healthcare Information Technology Policy Committee which assists in developing HIT Policy for the U.S. Government. Central Logic Data Intelligence aims to bridge barriers to data access for hospitals and health systems nationwide; Probst will share his insight on the importance of such data visibility.

Former President and Chief Executive Officer, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, and Group Chairman, Guidant Corporation, Ginger Graham consults with first-time CEOs in the areas of leadership, strategy, board-effectiveness, and organization-building.
She serves on numerous boards of directors including Walgreens Boots Alliance, Genomic Health, Inc., Proteus Digital Health Pharmaceutical Division, Surefire Medical, Elcelyx Therapeutics, Clovis Oncology, Inc., and the Circle of Life Hospice Foundation. Graham’s work has been recognized with prestigious awards and honors including being named as the Emerging Company Executive of the Year by the Global Health Council in 2005, a finalist in Marketwatch’s CEO of the Year in 2006, and named as the American Diabetes Association’s Woman of Valor award in 2006.

The new event, the ACCA Executive Forum, will be hosted by Dr. Geeta Nayyer, a nationally-recognized leader in healthcare information technology as well as a board-certified practicing physician who currently serves as the chief healthcare and innovation officer for Femwell Group Health, Inc., one of the largest management services organizations in Florida. She also is the host of “Topline MD TV,” Florida’s newest medical digital news channel, and has been named one of the “Top 26 smartest people in Health IT” by Becker’s Hospital Review and ranked one of the “Top 25 Minority Healthcare Executives” by Modern Healthcare.

“Central Logic is very excited to have Dr. Nayyer as our host for the summit. Her HIT expertise, enthusiasm and energy will help keep attendees very engaged during the event,” said Holmes.

Central Logic’s 9th Annual Advancing Care Coordination & Analytics (ACCA) Summit will include breakout sessions and the opportunity to meet with vendors focused on cutting edge trends to improve overall healthcare.
