e-MDs Cloud Solution v. Cirrus EHR Achieves Certification for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use
AUSTIN, TEXAS – December 17, 2013—e-MDs, a leading provider of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management (PM) solutions, announced today that e-MDs Cloud Solution v. Cirrus is Complete EHR 2014 compliant and has been certified for meaningful use Stage 1 and 2.

The e-MDs Cloud Solution easily connects to diagnostic result providers, health information exchanges (HIEs) and 3rd-party billing systems. The software as a service (SaaS) solution supports “bring your own device” (BYOD) systems to provide secure access to patient charts from anywhere there is an Internet connection.
e-MDs Cloud Solution v. Cirrus is Complete EHR certified and is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC?ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Current e-MDs Cloud Solutions customers will receive the Cirrus (01/2014) meaningful use release as a no-charge update. New customers can choose between monthly subscription pricing and a Services pricing model. Both pricing models include EHR features and functionality required for attestation. Additional incremental costs may be required for implementation and/or use of items, resources, or services from third parties that are offered or included in the e-MDs offerings.
