CareCloud to Present on Best Practices for ICD-10 Transition at MGMA 2014

CareCloud, the leading provider of cloud-based practice management, electronic health record (EHR), and medical billing software and services, today announced plans to appear alongside its client, South Florida Medicine, at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) 2014 Annual Conference. The two organizations will highlight best practices for medical groups to successfully transition to ICD-10 during an educational session at the conference in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, October 28th, from 1:30-2:30 P.M. PDT, Albert Santalo, CareCloud’s Chairman and CEO, and Alyson Tiedeman, Director of Practice Management for South Florida Medicine, will lead the presentation “Best Practices for ICD-10 Success.” Santalo and Tiedeman will give an overview of how the transition to ICD-10 will affect the revenue and workflow for medical groups and what they can do now to minimize disruption next year. In addition to specific transition tactics, they will share effective long-term strategies that could also optimize practice efficiency post ICD-10.

“As medical groups across the nation look to make the transition to ICD-10 in the coming year, it’s critical that they leverage best practices learned by leading groups,” said Santalo. “I am excited to present with Alyson, as she is responsible for guiding one of Florida’s largest medical groups as it looks to optimize cash flow and practice efficiencies across more than 100 physicians amidst this massive industry shift.”
