Chicago, IL  (February 11, 2014) – Impact Advisors, LLC, a premier healthcare information advisory services firm, announced today that they are enhancing their revenue cycle service offering with the addition of Robert Magnuson, Principal Advisor, as a member of their senior leadership team.

With Magnuson’s leadership, Impact Advisors, LLC is dedicated to helping their clients by suggesting the right solutions and approach to revenue cycle management. The enhanced offering opportunities include pre-implementation planning and integration, optimization over all areas of the revenue cycle, interim cycle leadership and revenue cycle assessment.

Magnuson has over 18 years of experience in healthcare provider, consulting and vendor operations. He will be responsible for developing a revenue cycle practice that leverages and augments the current capabilities of Impact Advisors and will serve as the central revenue cycle subject matter expert and ensuring outstanding delivery for revenue cycle projects.

Prior to accepting the position with Impact Advisors, Magnuson served in several revenue cycle management roles, including CEO for the Revenue Cycle Management Services business unit of The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), where he was responsible for the start-up and operation of a $200 million company with over 1,600 health information management, patient registration and business office professionals. He also served in multiple senior roles with Dell Services and Perot Systems where he served in the Revenue Cycle Solutions Business Unit as both COO and interim CEO. As COO and interim CEO, Magnuson was responsible for a $95 million revenue cycle business with over $7.5 billion in accounts receivable within 75 major hospital clients and 1,350 employees over multiple domestic and international geographies.

Magnuson graduated from Portland State University where he earned his MPA with an emphasis in Financial Management and Strategic Planning and from the University of Oregon where he earned a BS in Political Science.  He has co-authored many case studies and white papers on Revenue Cycle   and has received a number of honors including a Regent’s Award for Young Healthcare Administrator of the Year in 2002 from the American College of Healthcare Professionals.
