Illinois’ Christopher Rural Health Planning Corporation Selects eClinicalWorks
eClinicalWorks, a leader in ambulatory healthcare IT solutions, today announced that Illinois’ Christopher Rural Health Planning Corporation (CRHPC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), has selected eClinicalWorks comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) across its 13 locations. Using this Cloud-based solution will assist CRHPC in better coordinating patient care between all locations.
“As a Patient-Centered Medical Home, we are focused on delivering comprehensive, quality care to our patients,” said Brenda Spotanski, CIO of Christopher Rural Health Planning Corporation. “We chose eClinicalWorks due to all of the updated features offered at an affordable price. Being able to manage medical and dental care in an integrated manner, as well as employing voice recognition, will enhance our workflow. Throughout this process, eClinicalWorks has shown itself to be a true partner.”
eClinicalWorks currently works with nearly 700 community health centers across the country, with four of these centers being recipients of the HIMSS Nicholas E. Davies Award of Excellence Program. By deploying eClinicalWorks EHR solution in a Cloud environment, CRHPC will streamline processes between practices and provide high-reliability and accessibility of the EHR solution. It will also facilitate continuity of care across multiple settings, allowing critical information to be accessible at the point of care.
“Federally Qualified Health Centers offer quality care to patients under strict guidelines,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “eClinicalWorks has enhanced the features of our products to meet the requirements of these centers, making our solution a natural fit for community health centers. Using our suite of solutions will enable CRHPC to have a more complete view of their patients’ information, allowing its providers to better coordinate care.”
Several tools will assist in streamlining office workflow, creating a comprehensive electronic patient record and improving the overall quality of care. The eClinicalWorks Patient Portal will provide CRHPC with a secure means for doctors and patients to communicate, make appointments online, view lab results and enter health information. The check-in process will be driven by the eClinicalWorks Kiosk. Additionally, features including eClinicalWorks Scribe aid provider workflow by taking in unstructured input as text and voice, and then turning it into structured, reportable data within the progress note.
