Lightning Bolt Solutions Partners with MD Interconnect to Streamline Communication for WakeMed Physician Practices
[October 11, 2016 – San Francisco, CA] – Lightning Bolt Solutions, the leading provider of automated physician shift scheduling, today announced a new enterprise subscription agreement with WakeMed Physician Practices, a network of nearly 300 physicians that operates as part of WakeMed Health & Hospitals located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
As part of the agreement, Lightning Bolt will interface MD Interconnect’s cloud-based mobile and web application called RapidConnect. The RapidConnect solution – which is being rolled out to all physicians and caregivers across the WakeMed system – allows for faster communication between hospital and community healthcare providers, improving patient care and efficiency as well as integrating call schedules. Working with RapidConnect, Lightning Bolt enhances workflow communications across more than 20 practices within WakeMed Physician Practices.
