Citizens Medical Center Selects M*Modal to Enhance Clinical Documentation
M*Modal, a leading provider of clinical documentation and Speech Understanding solutions, today announced that Citizens Medical Center has selected M*Modal for transcription services and front-end speech recognition technology, enabling the healthcare provider to elevate the quality of patient narratives while increasing physician productivity and satisfaction.
With this agreement, M*Modal will be the exclusive provider of transcription services to Citizens Medical, a 334-bed acute care hospital based in Victoria, Texas. In addition, Citizens will use M*Modal Fluency Direct software to speech-enable its MEDITECH EHR systems. M*Modal Fluency Direct is designed from the ground up to specifically recognize healthcare terminology, and leverages cloud computing to let physicians access their trained voice profile from mobile devices and across hospital systems.
