Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 — Organizers of the 2013 Health IT Leadership Summit are seeking health IT innovators to spotlight at the fourth annual event in Atlanta on November 12, 2013. Nominations are now being accepted for the Intel Innovation Award, which honors IT innovation from across the healthcare continuum, including:

“Intel is pleased to once again support the Health IT Leadership Summit via the Innovation award, which has honored companies like Intel that are working in the most innovative healthcare spaces,” says Chris Tackett, Director of Americas Vertical Industry Marketing at Intel. “Past award winners have worked in the exciting areas of consumer healthcare and wireless devices, and we are excited to see what healthcare technologies this year’s nationwide nomination process brings.”

Jay S. Yadav, Founder and CEO of CardioMEMS, last year’s Innovation Award winner, expresses similar enthusiasm, noting, “CardioMEMS is honored to have won the 2012 Intel Innovation Award. This award has given CardioMEMS recognition among our technological peers, including visibility into how our miniature implanted wireless sensors can improve patients’ lives and lower healthcare costs.”
